Indy gaming showing it’s teeth with a hint of frustration. That’s what Canabalt is all about. The game incorporates high frame rate animation with an extremely low color count along with 8 bit style rendering to deliver a VERY addictive, short attention span game.
One of the biggest things with this game is that it’s got so much polish for a game that was made over the course of 2 weekends! The control scheme has is a whopping 1 button… but that 1 button makes for a world of heart pounding action. The sound along with the crazy escape action makes for an amazing game. Your “Daring Escape” comes with a reason. Be sure to pay attention to everything in the game too.
